With help from the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Community Fund, the Llandudno Museum was able to carry out a major refurbishment project that will allow many generations to enjoy the museum’s collection and the local history it represents.
With the fund’s assistance, the museum will also be able to develop as a much more exciting indoor activity for visitors, boosting Llandudno’s rich tourism offer, with support being specifically focussed on the development of the Gwynt y Môr gallery which will host a program of temporary exhibitions.
Additionally, the support from Gwynt y Môr helped the museum to access significant match funding from other sources to make the project possible, as it was provided in advance, helping with cashflow.
