Rhyl Men’s Shed

Rhyl Men’s Shed works to combat loneliness and isolation among men in its area, which has over the years included supporting a growing number of men with learning difficulties and disabilities, offering the chance to meet new people and gain friends and confidence through DIY, gardening or other shared projects.

Funding from the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm has helped to ensure their site was fully inclusive and accessible, with the organisation now able to build strong links with other agencies like the Red Cross, NHS and local authority, to offer support to as many individuals as possible.
