One of Wales’ biggest ever renewable energy investments takes vital step towards delivery
find out more >Holywell-based Daydream Designs has been working with developer RWE Renewables to ensure information is accessible across north Wales, by providing the Awel y Môr project website and other design services.
This has included questionnaires, graphics and illustrations, and the online exhibition for Awel y Môr’s public consultations, which helped showcase the development when in-person events were constrained by the pandemic.
Creative director Sian Saunders says working with the Awel y Môr team has helped the firm learn so much more about the possibilities for renewable energy in Wales.

Sian said: “I can see the Gwynt y Môr wind farm from my home, which has made it much easier to visualise what Awel y Môr will look like when it comes to creating graphics and other illustrations.
“We’re a small team here in Holywell, but we’re all committed to doing our part in moving closer to net zero.
“We switched the company over to a renewable-only power supplier a few years ago, so working to make this project a reality, alongside a number of other projects we contribute to elsewhere in Wales, has been encouraging.”
